My Skincare & Makeup Routine

Friday, March 23, 2018

Whether you wear a lot of makeup or are pretty basic (like me), we all use personal care products. And when I talk about products, I don’t mean just makeup, I mean EVERYTHING - toothpaste, hand soap, makeup, deodorant, hairspray, diaper rash cream, shave cream, etc. Even if you don’t wear makeup, you probably use some of the products I just listed.

When I switched over to Beautycounter products, I was looking for a good moisturizer, and Beautycounter’s was the best I’d ever used. That moisturizer and our Charcoal Cleansing Bar dramatically improved my skin. Over time, I switched over all my products to safer products, and my skin (and body) have never felt or looked better! Here are the products I use every day!

I truly care what I put on my skin, because I know that what I put on it impacts my longterm health, just like exercise and balanced eating. Thankfully, I do not have to sacrifice quality for my health! The products listed above are some of the best I have ever used, and they aren't terribly expensive. Pretty much everything I use now is Beautycounter - I love the quality of everything and that I can get it in one place (no more scouring the shelves of Target trying to find the best, and safest products). All the products I use are safer, including nail polish, dry shampoo, or deodorant and thankfully there are safer alternatives for those as well. To see my favorites, click here.

I love sharing my favorites with my readers, and I would love to help you make the switch to safer products! If you want to try out some products or need recommendations, send me a message or comment below. Again, don't forget to sign up for my weekly newsletter to get the best info and deals.
